**We are looking for someone to join our Recycling team. We are a plastics manufacturer making films for a wide range of packaging companies. We have a ‘Pure-Loop’ recycler which we use to salvage any scrap made in our factories and process it back into a re-useable material. The role includes a mixture of fork truck driving and manual labour, loading scrap into a guillotine and then onto a conveyor belt to be recycled.**

Your duties will include:

- Cutting up of large reels using a guillotine.
- Loading the conveyor belt efficiently to keep up with the machine consumption.
- Taking samples of product to ensure quality.
- Monitoring machine and alarms and some basic machine maintenance.
- Documenting run time/down time figures.
- Wrapping, weighing and labelling full bags of product ready for dispatch.
- Achieving target production.

You will be working in a busy environment working to time frames set by the machines throughput whilst always adhering to health and safety guidelines.

**Schedule**:

- 12 hour shifts (6am-6pm)
- 4 days on/ 4 days off
- Working some Weekends
- £10.02ph (average 42 hours per week)
- Reliable & punctual
- Own transport is essential due to no public transport.
- Flexible to cover additional overtime shifts.
- Counterbalance license would be advantageous but not necessary.
