Building on our recent, hugely successful expansion in Kent & London, BIG Motoring World is now looking for a Sales Controller to join our team at our Cannock sales site. Come and join the UK’s fastest growing Car Supermarket

**Role Profile - Sales Controller**

**£42,000 - £49,000 Per Annum DOE**

As a Sales Controller for Big Motoring World you assist the Management in looking after our Sales team - the driving force behind our business. We expect the highest levels of professionalism and customer service to meet demanding targets and in turn you will be rewarded with a competitive commission structure with great earning potential. So if you are looking to work in an industry that is forward-thinking and fast-moving, there are few that can match the automotive sector - especially for ambitious sales people eager to make their mark. Sales Controllers should be maximizing profitability per unit sales, exploring sales opportunities and overseeing all sales enquiries for the designated site.

**Role and responsibilities**
- To report directly to the Management and oversee the sales operation
- To second face customer to maximise sales and customer satisfaction
- Assist with the operational aspect of yard for the sale of used cars
- Help to direct and motivate the sales team whilst remaining a key member of it
- Implement effective sales plans
- Advise customers of finance and insurance products and services
- Monitor payments and manage Finance agreements
- Work to meet and exceed sales targets
- Ensure the whole sales experience is delivered to every customer
- Complete paperwork tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
- Take customers out for test drives, demonstrating mature and respectable behaviour and adhering to all road/traffic laws
- Build relationships with customers with a view to anticipating future business and strengthening the Company’s reputation within the marketplace
- Lead by example and inspire your team to achieve outstanding sales results whilst delivering exceptional customer service
- Communicate clearly, proactively and professionally to customers, management and colleagues alike and treat everyone with respect
- Adhere to Company Policies, Procedures and Codes of Conduct

- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to consolidate the sale and walk the customer through every stage of the deal
- Effective time management and flexibility in working patterns needed
- Literate, numerate and proficient computer skills
- Full driving licence
- A good head for figures and understanding of personal finance issues
- Effective team leader or management skills
- Sales experience within the automotive industry (Desirable)
