We Currently have an exciting opportunity completing works for Civil's Engineering Company on the roll out of 5G across the country starting in Gloucester and we are hiring multiple operatives to join their team.

The gangs will be made up off 3; 1 x 360 operative (working operative) and 2 labourers.

Within your role, you will be required to lead a team in performing excavations, repairs and re-reinstatements, installation of ducting, chambers and street cabinets located within the public highway and customers premises.

In this role you will be required to:

- Ensuring health and safety is paramount at all times and PPE is appropriate for each task.
- Address and resolve problems and complaints ensuring a proactive approach is maintained to build successful working relationships with all Clients and both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring risk assessment is filled in prior to any works commencing on site.
- Complying with Health and Safety regulations, including appropriate use of SLG, PPE and other tools and equipment, as well as maintaining a safe workstation at all times.
- Ensuring all equipment is fit for purpose and the daily plant check is completed and the relevant forms filled in, forms to be handed in to the supervisor.
- Reporting all accidents, incidents to management.

You will need to communicate with internal and external customers for maintaining a positive professional image for the business.

You will need:

- Experience of working in the Telecoms or Utilities sector.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Must have a valid driving licence.
- Hold a valid CPCS OR NPROS card.
- **1 person in team must hold Streetworks card**:

- **Must hold a NOPS Card
- Smartwater card.**

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am -17:00pm

**Salary**: £18.00-£22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bromsgrove: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- CPCS (preferred)

Work Location: In person
