**The Role**
This is an exciting opportunity for a Functional Consultant to join a growing team in a busy and challenging role. The BizApps team are a project-led department, working with a variety of clients in many different sectors, including several not-for-profits. Working collaboratively with project managers, developers and clients alike, they deliver high-quality solutions and are instrumental to the continued growth of the company.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Consultancy including, but not limited to, pre-sales and supporting the sales team in demonstrations, tender responses, business process analysis and implementation as well as training of end users
- Work closely with clients & the internal project management team to scope requirements. Challenging their current processes and the motivation for their requirements
- Analyse the clients business and understand their objectives so you can advise on where D365 will add value to their business, maximising ROI
- Design & document functional solutions to a sufficient level of detail to allow the development team to add the technical detail
- Provide advice during the implementation cycle, including configuring and customising D365
- Advise & support junior developers on the solutions you have designed
- Advise clients of technical risks in order that they can make informed decisions
- Assess requirements and highlight impact or risk to integrated solutions or teams
- Participate in generating estimations for implementation tasks
- Design data migration approaches and mappings to support the client and technical team on delivery of data migrations
- Run training sessions with end users
- Collaborate with PM team to develop delivery plans
- Maintain awareness of, and follow Chorus company procedures and guidelines
- Comply with all relevant legislative and legal requirements
- Demonstrate behaviours that promote our values
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested

**Personal Specification**

Functional Consultant with deep experience of understanding customer requirements. The ability to engage with stakeholders is key, together with excellent communication skills.

Required:

- Excellent requirements gathering skills, and attention to detail with proven ability to challenge customers and ask Why?
- Ability to translate the customers requirements into technical requirements for the technical team to build against
- Experience in completing fit gap analysis between business requirements and OOTB functionality
- Previous experience in designing functional solutions using not just Dynamics 365 but also custom Azure services such as function apps
- Proven ability to configure Dynamics to meet client needs
- Excellent written & verbal skills
- Confident in providing support and training to end users of all abilities
- Motivated self-starter
- Team player
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work on and lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Places emphasis on client satisfaction and understands the users needs, not just the business needs.

**Desired**:

- Experience of D365 portals
- Experience across a number of industries. Ideally strong in the not for profit sector
- Knowledge of Agile technologies & culture
- Experience using PowerBI, Azure Synapse
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, Jira or similar tool
- Knowledge of ClickDimensions
- Knowledge of DocumentCorePack
