This vibrant, well-established charity are currently working with Robertson Bell to find their next Finance Director. This permanent role reports into the Chief Executive and will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team of three,in addition to driving forward financial strategy as a member of the senior management team and ensuring the timely delivery of accounts.

**The key duties of this Finance Director role are as follows**:

- Prepare board packs and present these at regular meetings as well as being a part of the audit and risk committee.
- Hold full responsibility for all financial planning and analysis for the charity, taking the lead on financial strategy, budgeting and forecasting.
- Managing the finance team, offering opportunity for necessary development and training and ensuring a high performing culture.
- Manage all year and month end activity, including management of the audit schedule and production of management information packs.
- Attend monthly Senior Management Team meetings, having key input into the development and delivery of the charity’s strategic vision.
- Full responsibility for conducting financial modelling and stress-testing for several up-coming projects.

This full-time Finance Director role will officially be based out of the charity’s head office in London; however, employees are only required to be in the office a few times per month. It will suit someone who has previous experience working in a senioraccounting role who is looking to secure their first number one in finance position. - Previous experience of working in the charity or social housing sector at a senior level.
- Experience managing a small team.
- Demonstrable experience of contributing to financial strategy and board reporting/presenting.
- Brilliant communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to build strong relationships and credibility with Executive level stakeholders.
