We are a private members club based in the heart of Loughton and are looking for hosts/waiting staff to build out the team in this exciting venture.

The Hobo Club brings the benefits of a city club to the local area. A complete refit to the highest standard, offering a bar, lounge and work areas for members to meet clients and relax in both style and privacy.

Previous high service level waitering/hosting experience is a must with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Plus two years minimum of previous barista and/or cocktail making and/or kitchen experience preparing simple food to a high quality level with a willingness to learn and cross train in the above as required.

Responsibilities include:

- Proving high levels of service to our members and their guests - our reason for being is to make our members feel valued and special.
- Stay member/guest focused and nurture an excellent member/guest experience
- Prepare food and coffees/teas for our members.
- Serve and plate food.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment by washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Ensuring food safety standards are upheld.
- Collaborating with other staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
- Following recipes and instructions accurately to produce high-quality drinks and dishes.
- Handling basic kitchen equipment such as knives, blenders, and pizza ovens safely and effectively.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and superiors to coordinate tasks and meet goals.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Requirements and skills:

- Two or more of the following:

- Minimum 2 years high level waitering experience in a service orientated environment
- Minimum 2 years of barista experience
- Minimum 2 years working experience in a kitchen environment
- Minimum 2 years of bar experience focussing on cocktails/wine
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

Loughton is based on the Central Line (east) circa 30 minutes from Liverpool Street.

Pay will be from £13.00/hour depending on role and experience.

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
