We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Setter Operator to join our team here at Kristek Precision. The Company was established in 1987 and is a sub contract machine shop with a focus on precision and high-quality parts. We work in the Aerospace, Power Generation and Automotive sectors. We are extremely proud of our positive culture, highly experienced team and fully equipped machine shop.
The successful applicant will set and operate our milling machine tools within the side plate manufacturing area. DIRECT APPLICANTS ONLY - STRICTLY NO AGENCIES.

You will start the role on Day Shift - 39 hours per week.
Monday to Thursday 0700 - 1600
Friday 0700 - 1200

You will then progress to the alternating shift pattern
Early Shift
Monday to Thursday 0600 - 1400
Friday 0600 - 1300

Late Shift
Monday to Thursday 1400 - 2200
Friday 1200 - 1900

Salary includes shift premium. £29,900 - £36,800 depending on skills and experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set and operate CNC Milling machines within the side plate cell on a two shift pattern
- Take responsibility for the quality of component parts manufactured
- Follow quality plans, improving and developing as required
- Communicate with other team members
- Set up tooling, load programs, and ensure machines are operating efficiently
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining
- Inspect finished products for quality and precision
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve processes
- Work safely and report any Health and Safety issues
- Use various measuring equipment to ensure accuracy

**Requirements**:

- Experienced and skilled with a variety of CNC Machine tools working with Metal
- Strong experience in CNC Milling working with Metal
- Ability to interpret technical drawings to a good standard
- Understanding and experience in setting machines
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Computer literate
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive and proactive approach to Continuous Improvement
- Familiar with either Siemens or Fanuc Controls would be helpful but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £29,900.00-£36,800.00 per year
