**Job Purpose**

To assist with the efficient running of the filler lines in Production area

**Scope**

To contribute to the quality and technical areas in the Production team to enable it to produce the highest quality milk products in a reliable and cost effective way

**Responsibilities**:

- Work to a high standard to achieve departmental targets
- Ensure full completion of daily targets
- Ensure departmental procedures are followed and records are maintained
- Effectively run Filling lines by using production systems such as LMS
- Operate production equipment such as Box Machine, Palletiser, Stretch Wrap etc
- Perform simple repetitive maintenance tasks
- Maintain strict Food Hygiene and Health and Safety standards within the department
- Monitor equipment performance and correct / raise issues before they become problems
- Contribute to the team reporting and decision making process
- Actively promote communication links and good working relationships with colleagues
- Maintain high standards of work ethics in respect of lateness and absence
- Assist with Trolley Packer stoppages, Product Change, Start of run etc
- Any other duties commensurate with the grade
- Ability to work to a rotated shift pattern

**Qualifications**:

- Educated to NVQ level 1 or equivalent
- 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role preferred
- To have an understanding and workable knowledge of machinery
