**About Camden**

Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today and we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

Camden Adult Social Care is seeking an experienced and confident Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This is a fast-paced and rewarding front-door role that is central to our statutory safeguarding duties under the Care Act 2014.

MASH is the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns raised about adults at risk. You will work in a dynamic, virtual co-located, multi-disciplinary team alongside professionals from the Police, Mental Health, Housing, and Health to deliver timely, proportionate, and Making Safeguarding Personal responses.

You will triage safeguarding concerns, undertake Section 42(1) decision-making, liaise with partner agencies, and initiate proportionate action under the London Multi-Agency Safeguarding Adults Policy and Procedures.

This is an exciting opportunity for social workers who enjoy analytical decision-making, multi-agency work, and who want to contribute to high-quality safeguarding outcomes at the front door.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.

**What We Offer**

A robust induction into the MASH function and Camden safeguarding pathways.

Monthly reflective supervision and access to an experienced and supportive management team.

Access to core safeguarding training and development in areas such as legal literacy and trauma-informed safeguarding.

Develop skills and knowledge in areas, which include; self-neglect, mental health, modern day slavery, safeguarding adult partnership board, domestic violence, cuckooing and establishment concerns amongst many areas of safeguarding work.

**All About You**

You must be a Social Work England-registered social worker, with at least two years post-ASYE experience.

You will have a strong understanding of the Care Act 2014, including duties under Section 42, and the London Multi-Agency Safeguarding Procedures.

You will bring experience in safeguarding adults, sound professional judgement, and the ability to manage competing demands in a responsive and person-centred way.

You will be comfortable working in a multidisciplinary setting and building effective relationships across agencies.

You will also be skilled in concise, analytical recording that supports good decision-making

**How To Apply**

**What We Offer**

At Camden, you’ll receive a host of benefits. From flexible working to 27 days annual leave (+ bank holidays). We also know that a work life balance is extremely important so we also offer family leave, loan schemes and access to our incredible staff networks. We also have an incredible pensions scheme.

**Inclusion and Diversity**

**Asking for Adjustments**

**Anonymised Application** - _in keeping with Camden’s commitment to inclusion the recruitment to this role is anonymised and supports the objective of reducing the impact of unconscious bias._
