We’re hiring an experienced **Building & Construction Project Leader** to lead **CAPEX projects** from feasibility through design, construction, and final handover. You’ll coordinate **multi-functional teams (MFTs)**, work with external consultants/contractors, and ensure full compliance with technical, H&S, and corporate standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead full lifecycle of capital investment projects
- Manage multi-disciplinary project teams & external partners
- Prepare business cases, budgets, delivery plans
- Oversee M&E design briefs and contractor performance
- Ensure site works meet quality, safety, and spec compliance
**Required Experience**:
- Strong leadership in construction/CAPEX project delivery
- Client-side or FM project management background
- Experience in refurbishment/plant upgrade projects
- M&E design understanding and site-based delivery exposure
- IT proficiency (MS Project, SharePoint, G Suite)
**Qualifications & Desirables**:
- HNC/ONC in Building Services or similar
- Chartered or professional membership (e.g. CIBSE, IET, IMechE) preferred
- Familiar with design & cost estimation tools
**Job Types**: Temporary, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £27.56-£40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
