**Job Purpose**:
To cover staff shortages, absences, and holidays by assisting Nursery staff in the day-to-day running of the Nursery rooms and assisting in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- To cover staff absences, shortages, and holidays sometimes at short notice where possible with the ability to turn down and accept work offered.
- Work as a team member alongside the nursery team.
- Promote our vision and ethos to ensure a child-centred, safe, and stimulating environment is provided, meeting the needs of every individual within a group setting.
- Show positivity and professionalism.
- Take part in the day-to-day operational aspects of the nursery in line with policies and procedures, safeguarding, Ofsted requirements, local authority guidance, health and safety, and equal opportunities.
- Follow EYFS guidelines encouraging Early learning goals and participating in activities.
- Develop positive relationships with staff, colleagues, parents, children, and outside agencies.
