Currently we are looking for a WELDER/FABRICATOR to join our team at Lochview Theme Park. The successful applicant will be part of a friendly team.

We are seeking a team player with a can do attitude with the ability to work under direction and on their own initiative.

Competent with all hand and air tools.

Must have the ability to understand and follow instructions on bespoke projects, coming up with ad-hoc short and long term solutions to immediate problems. Needs to be comfortable working with and without drawings and at all times have the ability to improvise.

Strong communication skills, self-motivated with the ability to adapt and contribute solutions to the differing requirements of each project, making decisions and working both alone and as part of a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the layout and assembly of parts.
- Measure, cut, and shape metal components to precise measurements.
- Weld components using various welding techniques such as stick welding.
- Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform basic math calculations to determine dimensions and quantities of materials needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in welding and fabrication is required.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques, including stick welding.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metalworking processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques is a plus.
