**_Teaching Personnel are currently working with primary schools across Rochdale and Oldham to recruit SEN TAs to support learners across the primary age group (3 - 11 years)_**

**What Teaching Personnel can offer**:

Full time work, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm;
Part time work, 2 or 3 days a week;
Work in a year group that suits you;
Competitive rates of pay between £70 - £85 per day;
**The Role**

As a teaching assistant, you will be working to raise attainment and quality of learning within the classroom, offering intervention support to targeted children in English and Maths, meeting the needs of pupils with special educational needs and ensuringthe smooth running of the school day. You will be expected to maintain the high expectations set by the class teacher and be a role model for the children to aspire to.

**You**

We are looking for individuals with a patient nature, confident and adaptable with their approach to learning to meet the needs of pupils. They will be compassionate and caring individual who is committed to learning new skills every day and following clearguidance, working as a team with the class teacher.

If you hold any undergraduate degree or teaching assistant qualification such as NCFE, CACHE, NVQ, or an alternative TA certificate, we would love to hear from you.

Alternatively, we are looking for individuals with experience in the care setting, youth work or supporting vulnerable people in the community as you have transferable skills to thrive in this role.
