**About the role**:
This role involves working within the company’s warehouse, assisting in the preparation, servicing, testing, cleaning and packaging of the company’s equipment, as directed. This is not a driving role. Staff members should not drive company vehicles on public roads unless they have the express consent of the Managing Director.

**Your duties will include**:

- Assist with the servicing, preparation, cleaning and packaging of the company’s rental equipment, within the company’s warehouse.
- Operating forklift truck to position items of rental stock shelving and in vehicles.
- Deal with customers and drivers visiting the company’s premises to collect or return orders and equipment.
- Checking out of customer orders to ensure that all items are included and delivered and operational and cleanly presented.
- Assist with the servicing, preparation, cleaning and packaging of the company’s rental equipment, within the company’s warehouse.
- Operating forklift truck to position items of rental stock shelving and in vehicles.
- Maintenance and repair of full range of company’s rental stock.
- Assist in areas of building maintenance and general upkeep of the facilities as required.
- Keep all work areas clean, tidy and efficiently organised.
- As directed, provide support to the other teams within the company, to assist in other aspects of the business’s activity, as required.
- Always keep all work-related information confidential and act in a professional manner.
- Be aware of and complying with the Company Health and Safety Policy.
- Ensure that the Company’s policies, rules, procedures and obligations are observed in carrying out the above duties.

**The person will be**:

- Proactive and self-motivated.

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a fast-paced environment.
- Observant with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving equipment.

**Experience and qualifications**:

- Good communications / interpersonal skills. Fluent speaker of the English language.
- Flexible and adaptable. Able to respond to short notice changes in working hours and schedules.
- Basic IT knowledge with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word / Outlook etc.
- Numerate. Basic maths skills and arithmetic required.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficient with inventory systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Forklift license or manual handling training (preferred).

**Advantageous**:

- Full UK Driving Licence, to include category B (cars and vehicles up to 3500kg).
- Driving licence entitlement for category C1 (goods vehicles 3500kg to 7500kg).
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Driving licence entitlement for category CE (goods vehicles over 3500kg with trailers over 750kg).
- Driving Licence Categories BE, C1E or C
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Previous experience within a rental warehouse / workshop environment.
