Our client is a leading and award-winning international commercial law firm with offices across the UK, Europe and Far East. The firm delivers advice and strategic guidance spanning the full legal spectrum, from non-contentious advisory and transactional work, to all forms of commercial litigation.

**Introduction to the team**

The bids and proposals team is responsible for securing new business through new and existing client wins. We collaborate with teams across the firm’s three divisions - business services, healthcare, and marine - to produce high-quality responses to opportunities of all sizes. Operating in a fast-paced environment, we collaborate with stakeholders from each of our global offices on a day-to-day basis.

**Key responsibilities**:
Working on technical content for pre-qualification and tender submissions across the firm that helps to evidence our experience.
Developing marketing materials for the teams across the firm to showcase their service offer.
Liaising with partners and fee earners across the firm to obtain relevant information.
Generating written responses that are completed to a high standard and are compelling, clear and compliant.
Managing internal stakeholders throughout the tender process.
Reviewing responses and proofreading.
Developing corporate presentations and other pitch presentation proposals.
Administration as required including preparing supporting information, creating and updating sample responses and the maintenance of our bid library and content repository.

**What we are looking for**
**Essential**:
Proven ability writing concise content.
Degree or equivalent qualification in creative writing, English or Marketing.
Strong organisational and planning skills.
Exceptional project management and engaging communication skills.
Ability to deliver under pressure and meet deadlines, working with a proactive approach under own initiative.
Flexibility in approach and a willingness to work outside normal office hours, if required.

**Desirable**:
Understanding of layout and graphics and knowledge of InDesign is advantageous.
APMP (Association for Proposal Management Professional) Foundation Certification or strong understanding of proposal best practice.
