The Corporate Board is committed to appointing staff who will display initiative and enthusiasm, and further enhance the reputation of the College through a commitment to working as a member of a team and producing work of high quality. The post provides an exciting and challenging opportunity for a proactive and innovative person.
The Curriculum Area of A-Levels and Access (ALA) delivers full time programmes in AS and A Levels, Diplomas in Access and the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales. There is also a range of part-time courses covering a wide range of disciplines and levels.
The majority of our AS/A2 students also study the Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales and the person appointed will join an established team in delivering on that programme and will be a Personal Tutor to an AS or A2 tutor group.
An important proportion of our students come from our partner schools and close links have been developed through a variety of activities. This enables the Year 11 pupils to make informed curricular choices and it eases the transition for them when they come to college. You will be expected to help develop and foster these links.
The aforementioned provision is part of the A Level and Access Curriculum Area and sits within the A Level and Lifelong Learning faculty operated from the Graig Campus.
