**Are you a confident and enthusiastic Merchandising Assistant looking for a new role?**

**Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Merchandising Assistant to work with one of their leading and client based in Oundle. If you are passionate about buying within a fast-paced innovative environment, this is the role for you. Youwill need to be IT literate, a strong team player and proactive in managing your own time effectively to assist the Merchandising Manager.**

**Principle Responsibilities for the Operations Merchandising Assistant**:

- Ensuring goods are ordered and delivered to specification and on time.
- Identifying and dealing with associated issue with both warehouse and direct dispatch deliveries.
- Responsible for stock control identifying and clearing aged and slow-moving stock.
- Assisting suppliers with deliveries and related queries.
- Maintaining warehouse tracker for incoming deliveries.
- Generate purchase orders for Supplier Support, customer support and Warehouse team.
- Monitoring and controlling sale or return or stock.
- Work with buyers to increase product availability for general web sales.
- Arrange and track replacement product for Customer Service issues.
- Manage and co-ordinate project as required
- Ad hoc duties as required

**Person specification Merchandising Assistant**:

- Excellent Communications Skills
- High level of organization
- Previous experience with stock control systems and spreadsheets
- Enquiring and logical, able to formulate solutions.
- Flexible team player
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Can work under pressure

This is a full-time permanent **Merchandising Assistant** position, working Monday to Friday - 9am - 5pm
