Yardman/ Driver

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain the organisation and cleanliness of the yard & store.
- Manage materials and Plant deliveries.
- Ensure all equipment and materials are stored and ready for use.
- Load and unload materials from vehicles.
- Transport construction materials, tools, and equipment between sites.
- Assist with inventory management and stock control.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on vehicles.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations on-site and during transportation.
- Support site workers with manual tasks when required.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean record and previous experience driving commercial vehicles such as vans.
- Previous experience in a similar role (yard work, construction, or logistics).
- Good knowledge of handling construction materials and equipment.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery (Training can be provided).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour.
- Excellent time management and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am - 1pm.

Overtime will be offered as and when needed. Available for immediate start.

**Salary**: £10.50-£12.50 depending on experience.
