This lovely family in Parson's Green, London is looking for a Live in Nanny-Housekeeper to help them in looking after their charming toddler and school-aged child. The nanny-housekeeper will be calm and patient but have the energy to keep up with the children and take charge of light housekeeping tasks related to them. The role includes all general nanny duties, with a particular focus on preparing fresh, healthy meals for the children. The family is looking for someone comfortable with travel, as they often spend vacations abroad. While the family currently employs a cleaner, the mother is available to help on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and they also have a nanny on Mondays. On Tuesdays, the role will typically involve school pick-ups and drop-offs.
They prefer someone who has a good level of English. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
**Working hours**: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm with big breaks in the day, approximately 50 hours per week (Children are at school from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm)
**Accommodation**: Own Bedroom, shared bathroom (Potentially en-suite in the future once the family move homes)
**Duties include**:
- ironing
- laundry
- hoovering
- mopping floors
- cleaning windows, cupboards, surface tops, kitchens
- keeping bedrooms and bathrooms tidy
- wardrobe management and organisation
- preparation of meals for the children
- helping with learning
- washing and dressing the children
- playing with them
- changing nappies
- sterilising and cleaning milk bottles
- taking them to activities
- making sure the children are always safe and happy
The family seek someone who can start as soon as possible.
