I am currently recruiting for enthusiastic and committed Literacy Specialist Support Assistant to support in a lovely secondary school in Blackburn. You would also be supporting children with SEND and supporting them with Literacy working in small groups and on a one to one basis. This role is on a long term basis with the possibility of going permanent.

**The Role**:
Literacy Specialist Support Assistant - supporting children with SEND

Typically 8.30am
- 3.pm but timings could vary.

The role will vary depending on the needs of individual students but will be supporting children with complex needs and ADHD

Working collaboratively with the learning support team.

To join us and be successful in this **Literacy Specialist Support Assistant role,** you will need to:

- a minimum of six week's experience of supporting young people which you can evidence with references.
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to pay for a new one)
- Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
- Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
- Have the legal right to work in the UK

Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: Up to £100.00 per day
