Simpson Judge is currently working with an independent practice based in Preston who are looking to appoint an experienced bookkeeper into the team. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to work in a positive environment where you are listened toand able to work independently. They are ideally looking for an individual who is an expert on cloud-based systems as this role will predominantly involve assisting clients on Xero accounting software.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of VAT returns & dealing with different VAT schemes
- Bookkeeping for a varied client base
- Providing Xero support to clients, setting them up and training them how to use Xero
- Managing and reviewing work from outsourcer
- Payroll preparation
Package
- £24,000 - £30,000 salary (depending on experience)
- Flexible working & ability to work-from-home x 1 day a week
- 21 days holiday, plus Christmas close down

Requirements
- Experience dealing with clients directly
- Experience using Xero software (desirable)
