We have an exciting opportunity for a PMO Coordinator to join our team supporting one of our large Programmes of work. The main purpose of the PMO Coordinator role is to perform and coordinate the core PMO functions including planning, reporting, change control, document management & resource demand management.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Working with, assisting and supporting the PMO Manager or PMO Lead to develop the intelligent PMO.
- Responsibility for day-to-day activities for programme-level or portfolio-level reporting, in particular:
- _Accountable for the submission of consolidated progress reports into central services and governance boards to agreed reporting timetable_
- _Monitor the portfolio of projects and programmes from inception to closure, ensuring that the delivery is on time, within budget, minimising potential risks and assessing to make sure it meets all strategic objectives_
- _Highlight any deviation from baselined milestones or agreed budget and manage impact assessments of change requests_
- _Proactive risk and issue management, including providing constructive challenge to RAID log entries, and escalation of cross-programme and operational risks_
- Supports and coaches Project and Programme Managers with all aspects of project and programme delivery, including planning and forecasting, risk and issue management, dependency management, and reporting.
- Ownership of Lessons Learned repository including dissemination of consolidated updates to other projects.
- Carry out delegated duties for the PMO Manager or PMO Lead as required.
- Assist in the identification of business benefits of assigned projects with project or programme manager.
**What Do I Need?**
Have experience of working at a responsible level in a Programme Management Office or Portfolio Office.
- Be familiar with project management methodologies and the full project lifecycle with experience of working in an Agile delivery environment.
- Have a good working knowledge of key project processes, including status reporting, budgeting and estimating, planning, dependency management, risk and issue management, quality gates and change management.
- Be able to effectively and accurately track a high number of projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project and have strong communication and organisation skills.
- Have a flexible approach with the ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines and/or changing priorities and Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
