Being experts within our industry we are now recruiting an experienced Lifting Equipment Inspector to join our Industrial Equipment and Service Team, based in the Northwest region of England, with the reporting office located in Warrington.

You will report the Operations Manager, Warrington.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Complete the schedule of monthly inspections, surveys and studies ensuring planned works are completed.
- Understand sold work hours and perform inspections within the allowed hours without compromising safety or quality.
- Perform inspection of equipment and document findings and make corrective recommendations to the customer.
- Complete inspection and consultation service reports, discussing production or safety issues and customer feedback received during the visit review.

**What we are looking for in you**:

- You must be apprentice-trained or equivalent and fully conversant in engineering & maintenance tasks and activities
- Experience of inspecting lifting equipment including visual inspections, and familiar with survey tasks such as NDT, vibration analysis and thermal imaging.
- Demonstrable experience of overhead cranes, hoists and relatable equipment
- Hold LEEA qualifications, or equivalent
- Experienced in carrying out LOLER & PUWER inspections and completing written reports and statutory certifications.
- Knowledge of the associated risks when working at height.
- Strong interpersonal skills as there is extensive customer contact
- Proven commitment to safety
- You must be able to climb a ladder and able to work at heights
- Hold a current driving licence
