**Role**: Trainee Design Coordinator

**Location**: Cambridge

**Salary**: £21,000+ Per Annum (Negotiable)

They specialise in the Installation and Maintenance of Mechanical & Electricalservices for buildings, and they complete projects across all sectors around Essex and Cambridgeshire. Their constant high-quality workmanship and professionalism for every project has resulted in a record of repeat business. In line with their consistentgrowth, they are now seeking a Trainee Design Coordinator.

This role is ideal for a confident & aspiring engineer seeking an introduction into the building services industry. As a business, they are experienced in providing training to passionate novices to facilitate their development into a well-rounded engineer.For this role you will be:

- Getting to grips with the design process of a building.
- Assisting with the management of the building services design from tender through to completion.
- Supporting the design co-ordination team.
- Attend design meetings with the professional team
- Liaise with the construction and pre-construction team to ensure the most efficient design decision is reached.
- Assist in preparing documents and design reports.
- A minimum of 3 A-levels supported by some relevant work experience.
- IT proficiency
- Experience within the building services is not an essential requirement but knowledge of the industry through an apprenticeship would be valuable.
- The ability to confidently articulate ideas, conduct themselves within a meeting and have a passion to learn and progress.
