Job Introduction

Main Responsibilities
The Content Producer is responsible for developing and publishing content across BBC Arts digital and Social platforms, in multiple forms

Main responsibilities include:

- Creating and delivering high impact multimedia content that conforms to BBC technical and editorial compliance guidelines.
- Devising and implementing creative ways to reach target audiences with a range of content and talent.
- Creating and sub-editing outstanding short and long form copy for diverse audiences and different platforms.
- Working collaboratively with both external partners and colleagues across the BBC to deliver varied projects, partnerships and campaigns and extend cross-promotion.
- Curating BBC Arts & Classical Music’s online and Social Media products and helping to manage the digital deliverables process.
- Evidence of devising content formats, narratives and designs for audiences on multiple digital platforms.
- Evidence of ability to produce accurate, editorially compliant and engaging copy for audiences. Skilled in adapting language for different target audiences.
- Awareness of editorial issues and commitment to representation.
- Evidence of proficiency and adaptability in the use of Content Management Systems.
- Evidence of proficiency and creativity in image and video editing software; Adobe Creative Suite is desirable, as are graphic design skills.
- Evidence of managing projects with multiple and varied stakeholders.
- Evidence of teamwork, including devising and improving collaborative processes.
- Evidence of using analytics from multiple sources to report on content performance and make robust, evidence-based recommendations.
