**Job Purpose**:
To maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment by carrying out waste management and cleaning duties across the site, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures and environmental guidelines.
- Operate waste compactors, balers, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Carry out routine and ad-hoc cleaning tasks in designated areas including offices, restrooms, communal spaces, and production areas.
- Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or incidents to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning and waste disposal activities are completed to a high standard and within set timeframes.
- Follow COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations when handling cleaning chemicals.
- Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to all health and safety protocols.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience in a cleaning or waste management role is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and time management skills.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.84 per hour
