The Kings Hotel are currently looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Night Porter to join our fantastic team.

We are seeking to recruit a Night Porter and Bartender with the ability to work effectively to ensure the smooth running of the reception area. This role requires working through the night plus weekend work. Full time hours are approximately 40 hours per week with the shift commencing at 10.30pm until 7.00am or 8.30pm until 5am, if covering the bar.
- Deal with customer queries, check-ins, check-outs, room changes etc.
- Allocating rooms and issuing keys
- Preparation of bills and taking payments and pre-authorisations.
- Dealing with special requests from guests (wake up calls, newspapers or storing valuable items)
- Dealing with complaints or problems
- Serving drinks and room service throughout the night, including any guests that may remain in the resident’s lounge after the bar area has been closed.
- Process the bar close, ensure the float has been made up.
- To carry out the computerised night audit.
- To monitor and react to all alarms, as well as acting as focus point in event of fire alarm.
- To check and tidy all public areas. To include bars, lounges, coffee areas, toilets

You need to be reliable with the ability to work well unsupervised, be self-motivated and able to use your initiative.

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
