**We are looking for a Material Planner to join our team**
At DFS we are looking for a Material Planner to join our growing Manufacturing team on a Permanent basis, working 39.0 Hours per Week.

As a Material Planner you will support the category controller to ensure the right supply of materials, for all sites, in order to meet both the short and long term requirements of the business. Ensure the products are ordered efficiently and effectively and incoming material supply / schedules are shared with relevant stakeholders. Maintain operational information, reports and metrics and be in regular communication with our suppliers so they understand our future demand.

This role will predominantly support with fabric category so a background in material planning and buying would be desirable but is not essential - full training will be provided.

**What you can bring to the role of a Material Planner** Capabilities Required**
- Great communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Able to manage and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Able to have difficult conversations with external suppliers
- Ability to be able to collate and present information and data
- Ability to manage and prioritise workloads

**Experience / Qualifications**
- Experience in using Microsfot Office/Excel/Google Sheets
- Desirable but not essential experience of working with MRP/ERP systems
- Desirable but not essential, experience working within a product environement

**The important stuff** Location**: Base site Doncaster, DN6 7BD. Some travel to other factories may be required.

**Contract Type**: Permanent

**Hours**:Full Time. 39 hours per week with a 2pm finish on a Friday. Some homeworking can be accomodated after training is complete.

We operate our factories on two shifts. The early shift works Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm and the late shift works Monday to Thursday 2pm to 12.20am.

**Salary**: £25000.00 - £25750.00 per annum.
