This is an exciting opportunity to provide commercial support (Quantity Surveying) to a rapidly expanding business working on multiple contracts which vary in size and nature, where you will be fully supported and developed to become qualified in Quantity Surveying and progress your career.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The activities below provide an indication of the support you will provide within the commercial and contract administration departments, including but not limited to the following:

- Cost and Value Reports - monthly reporting which is imperative to understand the performance of our contracts
- Issuance of project cost reports in accordance with the requirements of the Project Manager, including client reports, cash flows forecast, margin forecast and analysis, man power projections plans
- Sensitivity analysis - best case, worst case and most likely (turnover and profit and loss)
- Cost provisions/accruals including purchase orders, materials, labour, subcontractors, plant, etc
- Cost analysis - prelims, plant, equipment, materials, labour, subcontract
- Labour rates including accruals for NI, holidays, ppe, small tools
- Subcontract management
- Value analysis on Schedule of Rates, Fixed Price, Target Costing and others
- Change management
- Transacting contract notifications
- Valuations and invoicing
- Identifying margin improvement opportunities

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Prepared to work towards a Quantity Surveying Degree and/or further develop current degree
- Good written and verbal communication
- Capable with all MS Packages
- Previous experience in a similar role in a contracting organisation (desirable)
- SAP experience (desirable)
