**The Role**

To achieve this, you will need to assist with a variety of tasks which will support the wider team to deliver a first-class service to all our service users. You must be flexible and willing to deliver support where needed.

**Specific Job Requirements**
- Act with speed/urgency to new packages taken on by Coordinators
- Ensure compliance with initial assessment documentation, programme of reviews, MAR charts and Daily Care Records
- Work in partnership with the Registered Manager and Care Co-coordinators regarding the most appropriate care for each individual and ensure it’s tailored to their individual needs
- Support Team Leaders with job tasks
- Respond to ALL care needed whilst on shift
- Actively promote independence and self-care in your day to day activities
- Promote effective communication and relationships
- Promote anti-discriminatory practice (including policies and codes of practice)
- Promote and support individual rights to dignity, independence, empowerment, choice and safety
- Promote empathy and emotional support to carers, service users and families
- Acknowledge individuals’ personal beliefs and identity whilst respecting diversity
- Protect individuals from abuse
- Develop person-centred care plans with each service user, implementing them into day to day practice
- Support service users’ social interests, whilst promoting mental & physical activities

**General Job Requirements**
- Comply with the organisations code of conduct, policies and procedures
- Positively contribute as a senior team member to the overall management of the organisation, including during Branch meetings, senior team meetings etc.
- Work autonomously
- **Car Driver**:

- **Shift Work (0700 - 1400 and 1600 - 2100, fortnightly rotation of 4 and 3 days per week)**

**Preferred but not essential qualifications & experience**
- NVQ level 3
- Preferably have a Care Certificate
- Must be able to demonstrate competence as a Carer

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
