You will be providing secretarial and administrative support to lawyers and legal executives or other Fee Earners within the Firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with great time management and multitasking abilities, to thrive and excel in aprofessional but bubbly workplace.
**Duties**:
- Audio and copy typing of correspondence and documents on a day-to-day basis.
- Telephone/personal contact with clients and other persons as required.
- Maintenance of fee earner diary on a day to day basis
- Maintenance and updating of the filing system.
- Ensuring all outgoing mail is dispatched with appropriate enclosures.
- Opening and closing of files.
- Support with billing as instructed by the fee earner and liaise with Finance.
- To be available to support earners on any other administrative tasks as and when required.
- Carrying out miscellaneous secretarial duties including photocopying as required.
- Promote and maintain sound relationships with colleagues throughout the Firm.
- Managing miscellaneous enquiries from potential clients and able to direct them effectively to the appropriate fee earner.
- Providing Firmwide administrative support in respect of standardised administrative duties, including cover to other teams during periods of leave.
- To provide cover to Reception as required by the Firm, along with other departmental Secretaries.
- General litigation tasks as directed by the Fee Earners (training given).
**Skills required**:
- Previous Legal experience desirable
- Excellent level of customer service
- Great attention to detail
- IT competency
