Care Assistant

Due to the needs of the business, we can currently only hire **Male Support Workers in the Findon and Worthing areas.**

We're looking for people who can share your personal experiences and hobbies with the people we care for.

**Contract**: Permanent contract, full time and part time roles available

**Hours**:Mornings, afternoons, evenings or night shifts available.

**Pay**: £24,000 to £26,000 per year depending on experience **plus** a £600 car allowance and 45p per mile paid to you.

**Areas**:Findon and surrounding areas.

This isn't a typical Support Worker role. You'll be caring for people and having days out, trips and helping people experience extra curricular activities.

Experience may be an advantage, but if you're a genuinely caring person with the right attitude, then we want to speak with you. No one day is ever the same, which is why we love what we do

**Key responsibilities**:

- Supporting young adults and adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.
- Taking people out on day trips and extra curricular activities such as walking and cycling.
- Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations and the care & support policies and procedures
- Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
- Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
- Be a kind, empathetic and people person who works well in a team.
