**We are looking for a Security Officer to join us at Doncaster Airport.**

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safe and smooth transition of passengers, staff and airport personnel whilst maintaining the highest level of customer service and satisfaction at all times.

**Main Duties**:

- Passenger Screening - Screening all passengers to the required standards, often performing physical searches where necessary.
- X-Ray Screening - Screening/searching cabin & hold baggage in order to ensure no prohibited articles are brought into the critical part, which may endanger passengers, aircraft and crew.
- Access Control - Controlling of access to the aerodrome, checking identification or travel documents for all passengers, staff and airport users requiring access.
- Patrolling - Carry out foot patrols of airside/landside locations to ensure they are secure.
- Passenger Preparation - Preparing passengers for processing through the central search screening area, assisting and advising on how to baggage, liquids, electronics etc. for screening.
- Resolve queries from customers and assist them with their journey through the airport offering advice where necessary & high

levels of customer service.
- Read and adhere to security notices, completing documentation clearly and concisely on any incidents that may have occurred.
- Responding to and assisting with emergency situations.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Minimum of 3 year UK residency
- 5 year checkable background
- Own transport is essential due to shift times
