Are you looking for a fulfilling role where you can contribute to the smooth operation of a school environment? We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable School Caretaker to join our client. This position is part-time working Monday to Friday, totaling 25 hours per week.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Undertake general maintenance and repairs around the school premises.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the school buildings and grounds.
- Monitor and maintain the security of the premises, including locking and unlocking facilities as required.
- Carry out minor repairs and DIY tasks as necessary.
- Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for school events and activities.
- Report any health and safety hazards or issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform other duties as directed by the school management team.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar caretaking or maintenance role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Physical fitness and ability to undertake manual tasks.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for special events or emergencies.

**Salary**: £12-£13 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications).

**A VALID DBS IS REQUIRED AND OWN TRANSPORT DUE TO LOCATION.**
