**Overview**

**Duties**
- Weld and assemble metal parts using various welding techniques, including stick welding.
- Fabricate components from sheet metal and other materials as required.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to perform welding tasks.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project specifications.
- Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while ensuring the highest quality of work.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in welding, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication is advantageous but not essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- MIG welding: 1 year (required)
- Fabrication: 1 year (required)
