Due to expansion at our Head office in Whitchurch Shropshire, we are now recruiting for a full-time experienced HR Consultant to join and strengthen our small office-based team, where you will sit at the centre of our busy head office.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Advising management on the administration of human resources policies and procedures.
- Leading, managing and influencing other members of the team and employees across the business.
- Serving as internal consultants by analysing a company’s current HR programmes and recommending solutions.
- Improvising and adapting to organisational changes as and when they arise
- Developing, revising and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Ensuring HR programmes and services are in compliance with established polices and procedures and UK laws and regulations
- Preparing and maintaining reports and business plans related to specific HR projects
- Assisting with the development and coordination of recommended changes regarding workflow
- Developing methods for compiling and analysing data for reports and special projects
- Conducting audits of HR activities to ensure compliance
- Presenting training sessions relating to specific HR programs
- Building relationships both with employees and clients
- Working with the HR systems and IT programmes ie. Payroll, excel etc.
- Need to have demonstrable experience of leading TUPE transfers, mergers and acquisitions.
- Experience of leading complex disciplinary investigations, hearings and appeals.
- Experience of managing grievances at all levels
- Able to advise and lead on absence management
- Must have the ability to familiarise yourself with company policies and procedures quickly to actively support the business effectively.

**Requirements**:
Must Have:

- Proven experience as an HR consultant.
- Experience in project management, preferably HR related.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods, and best practices.
- Solid understanding of research methods and analysis.
- Computer savvy with working knowledge of human resource IT systems such as ATS and payroll.
- Ability to strategise and formulate business plans.
- An analytical mind with problem solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and consulting skills.
- BSc/BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field.
- MSc/MA in human resources will be a plus.
- CIPD Graduate qualification with at least five years’ experience.
- Qualified to CIPD Level 7 as a minimum.

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:
