Warehouse Coordinator

We currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse Coordinator to coordinate the warehouse & distribution functions at the White Lund site. The successful candidiate will focus on improving the current processes and systems and have the knowledge, experience and skill set to coordinate the warehouse administration processes using our ERP system, whilst maintaining accurate stock records and meeting both internal and external customer requirements

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Conducts activities in an effective manner working towards achieving FMP's common objectives as well as those of theCliniMed Group.
- Reports deviations from the standard and takes appropriate measures and corrective actions.
- Takes action to achieve the operational objectives and indicators (KPIs).
- Supports the Visions and Strategies of the Company and the Group as well as the activities of the Managing Director
- Is involved, supports and participates in change to build agile business
- Team work - Builds bonds within the team, promotes cooperation and increases efficiency within the team
- Ensure compliance to;
- ISO/MCA, GMP, all relevant SOP’s and Company procedures
- Coordinate & Supervise the warehouse & distribution staff, processes and functions at the White Lund site, in conjunction with the Logistics Manager.
- Communicate regularly with the Logistics Manager, Warehouse Manager and production area to ensure material is moved in an effective and timely manner and is ready and available for each planned order. (Kitting up, de-kits, stock discrepancies etc)
- To ensure that all stock movements are entered onto the computer system the same day as the physical movements and ensuring stock accuracy.
- Take part in stock counts within the Warehouse & Production areas, in conjunction with the Logistics Manager & Warehouse Manager to ensure stock accuracy and audit purposes.
- Liaise with external suppliers/subcontractors regarding the delivery of non-sterile product and collection of sterile products, in conjunction with the Logistics Manager & Warehouse Manager.
- Ensure all goods sent in and out of the warehouse are suitably packed and correctly labelled and barcoded.
- Coordinate the receipt and dispatch of all goods from the White Cross Site, in conjunction with the Logistics Manager & Warehouse Manager
- Ensure all incoming goods are checked and booked into ERP system in a timely manner, as well Liaising with Purchasing, in conjunction with the Logistics Manager, on any incoming goods that might affect warehouse functions (Space, kit demand, alternative storage solutions etc)
- To promote good communication, both verbal and written, within the Warehouse department and with other departments.
- To strictly adhere to the company's Health & Safety policy and procedures to provide a safe working environment.
- Ensure all visitors to the White Lund site adhere to the Health & Safety initiatives currently in place.
- Ensure all signage is visible and legible within the warehouse area.
- Responsible for the safe storage of goods/product at the White Lund site. Ensure that all goods/product stored in the racking are placed on unbroken pallets suitable for the load and the racking.
- Ensure that that all racking and warehouse equipment is in the required condition and functioning correctly. Report any damage or equipment not functioning correctly to the Logistics Manager, Warehouse Manager or Transport Supervisor.
- To take responsibility for own personal development, in line with agreed Performance and Development Reviews.
- Work with the Logistics Manager & Warehouse Manager regarding disciplinary matters relating to warehouse & distribution employees.
- Maintain good housekeeping in all Warehouse and Production areas.
- Experience working within a logistics position in a warehouse environment
- Knowledge of transport and warehousing
- Knowledge of lean logistics and lean production principles in general
- Analytic thinking and hands-on / pragmatic execution and implementation
- Good knowledge of structured problem-solving tools and methodologies
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal at all levels
- Good presentation skills (profound Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must)
- An understanding of Quality, Business and OEM systems/standards
- Self-driven, with an enthusiastic approach and “positive attitude”

**HOURS OF WORK**

37.5 hours PER; 08:00-16:30 Mon-Thurs and 08:00-13:30 Friday
