Duties will include audio typing of correspondence, updating patient pathways, preparing clinic correspondence, as well as contacting patients and providing admin support to the wider team. You will also deal with telephone enquiries and a variety of other clerical duties.
You will need fast and accurate audio typing skills. You should have good written and oral communication skills and function well as part of a team, using your own initiative and ability to prioritise work to achieve deadlines. You will need to be competent in a range of IT packages, including MS Office.
The role of secretarial assistant is interesting and varied and offers the opportunity to develop further.
To provide comprehensive typing and administration support service within the Pain Department.
To perform all allocated clerical tasks, computer input.
To perform all allocated secretarial and administration tasks required in order to meet the needs of the service.
To undergo training as necessary to meet the needs of new developments.
To provide an efficient administration service to support the patient pathway.
