Progress Chaser

Rapidly growing manufacturing business requires a Progress Chaser. Applicants need experience in; supply chain, customer account management, production planning, expediting or progress chasing within a manufacturing or engineering business.

The Progress Chaser will be responsible for; monitoring the progress of and expediting materials and customer orders through the business.

Specific duties of the Progress Chaser include:

- Update and control data within MRP system and production planning spreadsheets
- Monitor works orders and advise internal/external customers of the progress of their order
- Allocate materials and monitor shortages in conjunction with stores, planning and purchasing
- Support the communication of production schedules to the supply chain

Progress Chaser applicants should meet the following criteria:

- Experience within purchasing, supply chain, production planning, expediting, customer account management
- Familiarity with a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Previous experience in the use of an MRP/ERP, or MS Excel
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
