We are looking for several Material Handler to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Engine Business Segment in Darlington.

**This is a 1-month fixed term Cummins contract working 37.5 hours per week across the following shift pattern.**
- Days - Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00
- Backs - Monday to Thursday 14:00 - 22:00 Friday 14:00 - 19:10
- Nights - Sunday to Thursday 22:00 - 06:00

Salary is £26,651.78 plus shift premium.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

- Materials Handlers are responsible for the on-time and accurate delivery of materials and components for production/assembly operations.
- Shift working on a fast-paced production line, to support materials requirements for building diesel engines by following standard operating procedures/disciplined methods.
- You will undertake a wide range of repetitive tasks involving lifting, bending, carrying, and handling of components.
- To work to disciplined methods/standard operations.

**Qualifications**

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

- Basic literacy and numeracy.
- Previous assembly experience in a production/factory environment is preferred but not essential.
- Experience of operating fork-lift trucks and other site vehicles would be an advantage.
