A dynamic and growing injection moulding company run by a friendly team.

A great opportunity for a full-time job in production with a friendly team. We are looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Tool Setter or a trainee to start immediately working within our family run team at our growing injection moulding company, ProPlastix Ltd, based between Christchurch and Ringwood. You must have your own transport to get to and from work due to our location. This is a position that could suit someone starting their career who is driven and wants progression, training and to gain valuable career skills or an experienced Tool Setter looking for a full time and permanent role - salary will be based on experience.

Duties include:

- Tool setting, machine setting, raw material preparation, ancillary equipment installation, packing and identification of finished product.
- General production and assembly duties
- Machine operation required
- Liaise and report to production manager regarding production requirements and quality standards
- Ability to respond to changing job requirements depending on production demands
- Carry out daily safety checks on Injection Moulding Machines (IMM) and report any faults
- Ensure that Injection Moulding Machine start up and re-start and shut down processes are followed
- Control and monitoring of jobs running
- Take part in fault finding and problem solving of production processes
- Carry out effective housekeeping, machine and ancillary planned maintenance

Pay: £12.50-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
