**Veterinary Clinical Administrator**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Administrator to join our Small Animal Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue Referral centre.

Oxford Veterinary Specialists is a family run independent business which aims to provide the highest clinical standards. It’s founder and clinical director, Hannes Bergmann, is particularly interested in providing a very personal approach for our clients and the referring veterinarians.

Our modern facilities include 4 consult rooms, 2 operating theatre’s, CT scanner, digital X-ray, in-house laboratory and separate dog and cat wards.

**Knowledge and Skills**:
As a Clinical Administrator you will provide a friendly, efficient and professional service for our clients and the referring vets.

Be a team player with the ability to establish positive working relationships and support the team

**Main responsibilities**:

- Assisting our specialists with clerical duties
- Assisting with computer system pricing set up
- Helping to organise clinical and practice meetings
- Assisting in recruitment and Induction of new staff
- Banking and till float
- Customer accounts, invoicing and debt management
- Managing and monitoring Health & Safety compliance
- Managing and processing insurance claims
- Scanning/filing of documents
- Ordering stationary supplies
- Other duties as required by management

**Experience**

Essential:

- Previous accounts administration experience
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skill

Desirable:

- Previous experience in a Veterinary Practice environment
- Knowledge of Health and Safety compliance
