**Part-time dog walking vacancies**

This part-time position, would fit well for someone who has a passion for animals and loves to be outdoors enjoying the benefits of fresh air and headspace. We are looking for some who will enjoy a flexible work schedule and be committed to their role and the animals they care for, you will need to be available to work during school holiday periods.

We are looking for someone in the Wantage area, key working days Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with the option to add days and services to suit your availability.

**What you can expect**:

- Kisses and cuddles with a whole host of beautiful, loved pets
- To be covered in the contents of a muddy puddles
- Various hairstyles courtesy of the elements of our seasons
- Wonderful customers who love you, for the notes you leave and the stories you share of their pets
- You will be walking 2-3 dogs at a time (we don’t pack walk)
- Ongoing training and support
- You’ll be an ambassador for our award-winning, fully insured brand and join one of the happiest dog walking companies in the UK.

**What we need from you**:

- Good physical health, able to walk, handle and restrain dogs.
- A passion for animals (experience of being a pet owner)
- Access to a reliable smart-phone (mobile)
- Own car (fully insured, MOT and tax) and a clean driving licence
- Police and reference checks (for our customer’s peace of mind)
- Live locally to the vacancy - ideally within 5 miles of Wantage
- Be willing to work in all weathers
- Exceptional timekeeping, available at required times throughout the day
- Confident communication skills (with humans and animals)
- Commitment (our pets build relationships with you, so consistency is very important)

**Job role**

.Pick up dogs from customer homes using keys and ensuring the home is locked.

.Transport dogs safely to a walk in your own vehicle

.Walk dogs at and for the time specified on your schedule.

.Ensure each dog has appropriate exercise, a toilet break, engagement with you, play and socialisation with other dogs.

.Pick up and dispose of dog waste.

.Return the dog safely in your vehicle and ensure the customers home is locked.

**Overview of vacancy**:

- Part-time
- Morning/Lunchtime/Afternoon walks
- 2-20 hours per week available
- Outdoors - need to be willing to walk in all weathers
- Travelling required - must have own car/van
- Self employed

**Hours**:

- Monday to Friday part time hours. Occasional weekend work available.

**Pay**:

- 11.44 - £15 hourly job rate
