Furnace Operator

2 x experienced Furnacemen, required for our Cradley Heath facility, to operate induction furnaces. Preferably with overhead crane and/or fork lift licences.

We work alternating shifts in the foundry, one week on mornings from 6am to 2pm Monday to Thursday and 6am to 1pm Friday, with the following week on afternoons from 1pm to 9pm Monday to Thursday and 1pm to 8pm Friday. The hourly rate of pay for the Foundry Operatives is £11/hr, with a shift allowance of £50/wk.

**Hours of work**:
Working alternating shifts in the foundry, one week on mornings:

- 6am to 2pm Monday to Thursday
- 6am to 1pm Friday

The following week on afternoons:

- 1pm to 9pm Monday to Thursday
- 1pm to 8pm Friday

Weekly bonus and shift allowance on top of hourly rate.

**Please note that this role is physically demanding due to the manual labour involved, so applicants need to be physically fit**.

Please note that these positions are required for our centrifugal casting business based in Cradley Heath. This role is within heavy engineering, with castings measuring 500mm diameter upwards and can weigh anything between 2 kilo up to 10 tonne.
