**Title: Multi Drop Driver / Van Driver Cat B**

The Best Connection are recruiting multiple **Multi Drop / Van Drivers**(Cat B)**to work with their client on the Team Valley, Gateshead. The role is working for a global logistics company and is due to start ASAP - it will be ongoing over peak and could be extended further with the potential of permanent positions.

**The role**:

- Report to the Lead Courier at the start of the shift to be given route instructions
- Load parcels of up to 20kg on the van
- Complete fast, efficient and accurate delivery of parcels to customer's property
- Minimum of 50 drops and collections per shift
- This is a customer facing role, so you must be friendly and professional as you will be representing The Best Connection
- Full, clean UK driving licence is essential - no DD or DR endorsements
- Physically fit as the role involves manual handling and heavy lifting
- Multi-drop experience is essential - minimum of 6 months
- A full DBS check must be completed before starting (paid for by us)
- 5 year checkable work history and online HMRC document (we will show you how to obtain)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude to customer care

**Hours of work and pay**:

- Monday to Friday
- Typical working day is 10.00am - 19.00pm
- ** £13.42 per hour basic rate for first 45 hours worked**:

- ** £20.13 per hour overtime rate after 45 hours worked**:

- 8 hours minimum shift
