My client is a highly regarded market leader in the power solutions sector. Due to their success and ongoing growth they have an opportunity for a Technical Support Engineer to join their talented team.

The role:

- Review customer specifications with the Commercial and Engineering team to verify all requirements can be met
- Lead on product quality - inspection, audits and develop QMS processes
- Ensuring adherence and compliance to all applicable standards (EU, IEC, ISO etc)
- Ensuring all test and quality related equipment is correctly maintained, calibrated and operated to the highest safety standards
- Identifying and implementing improvements which enhance the product quality
- Work with the Project Manager to resolve any technical issues
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate:

- Experience of working in a Technical Support role
- Ability to work as part of a small busy team
- Self-motivated, conscientious, enthusiastic and adaptable approach
- Work with other business functions independently and as part of a project team to support the development of key knowledge areas

Essential
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering
- Three years’ experience working within a technical role: LV panels and Switchboards
- Circuit Protection product knowledge inc PLC programming
- Knowledge and experience in Low-voltage short-circuit testing
- Experience of reading/understanding schematic drawings
- ISO9001 knowledge
- Relevant training in Health and Safety awareness
- Able to work accurately to deadlines in a busy and fast paced environment
