We have an exciting opportunity to join one of our Insite's and are looking for an ambitious and dynamic person to support the Insite Manager to develop the business by capitalising on every profitable sales opportunity whilst ensuring good customer care working practices are maintained and the customer’s expectations are exceeded whenever possible.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Safety
- Ensure Company safety policy, rules and procedures are understood and followed on all operational tasks and improvements including manual handling.
- Identify and report health or safety hazards & dangerous situations and put appropriate control measures in place
- Perform risk assessment as appropriate
- Take part in regular inspections/audits for good housekeeping/5S and ensure agreed action are completed
- Managing the condition of the items stored in the area safely
Quality
- Complete the stock taking of stores stock, using correct procedure to ensure stock integrity.
- Assist with the harmonization of spares for PS Central Stores using WCM methods.
- Ensure consistency of processes for Stores.
- Inspection for any quality issues on all goods delivered to the Stores.
Customer Service
- Instigating investigations for failed requisitions to improve customer service
- The ability to use all work systems to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels, from team member to Sourcing Unit Manager is essential.
- Monitor weekly KPI’s to ensure improvement targets are met
- Assist all customers with stock item and purchasing queries
Problem Solving / Decision Making
- The Stores Team Member will be required to provide solutions to problems of repetitive or occasional frequency that affect the efficiency of the stores operation.
- Due to varying workloads or unexpected requests the Stores Team Member will be expected on occasion to be flexible in the management of their time, and to make decisions to achieve deadlines that would otherwise affect customer service.
- Application of knowledge of work systems (eg. ESAP / Coupa Buyer) to raise daily orders and deal with any issues that may arise.
- Support service issues root-cause analysis, suggesting to change in procedure
- Reviewing and reporting stock consumption and non-movers, managing stock levels and agreed target.
- Work with Engineers and Focused Technicians to identify obsolete items or reduce stocks of slow-moving items on a regular basis. Set up plans for future improvement in this area,
Training and Development
- Review training and development needs in consultation with Stores Leader
Early Management
- Work with projects and operations to ensure any new equipment is identified and added as new stock via the correct procedure
- Work with projects and engineering teams to ensure that spares are identified and valued and so included in CP for removal of machines and equipment
General
- Ensure teams and individuals are empowered, skilled, motivated and committed to delivering business objectives and the continual development of people
- The Stores Team Member should seek to develop initiatives that will improve all performance aspects of the stores.
- The Stores Team Member will need to have good working relationships with all personnel across the whole Sourcing Unit, the majority of whom the store team member will deal with on a regular basis
- Attend regular meetings with members to review performance and identify necessary improvement
- Filing of all associated paperwork.
- Stock taking and rationalising of stores stock.
- Covering tasks normally completed by other team members in their absence.
- Raising orders via Coupa buyer as and when required
