**PMLD Teaching Assistant**
Qualiteach is currently working with a SEN School who is looking for a PMLD Teaching Assistant who is available to start with them from the first week of November until the end of July and could potentially roll over into the new academic year. For this roleyou will be working in a school that specialises and has facilities for students with Special Educational Needs. You will be based in one of their classes where all the students will have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. This class will be madeup of 5 students, the class teacher and 3 Teaching Assistants. Throughout the day the students will be learning very low-level Maths and English, as well as taking part in other activities which will help develop their life and social skills. Due to the studentsneeds, as well as supporting them through their lessons and activities, you will also be required to assist them with personal care. Therefore, the ideal PMLD Teaching Assistant for this role must have had previous experience in a SEN School or in a care-basedenvironment and have a calm and nurturing approach.
**SEN School**

Found in the London borough of Lambeth, this SEN School caters for students aged between 2-11 years with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. They currently have 100 students who attend and in their last Ofstedin July 2019, they were awarded 'Good' in all areas.
