Veterinary Receptionist

Town & Country Veterinary Group are looking to recruit a Veterinary Receptionist on a permanent contract based at our Clayton-Le-Moors branch with flexibility to cover our Blackburn and Whalley branches as required on a rota basis to cover staff holidays.

The role is for 15 hours per week on set shifts Monday to Friday 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

The hours you may cover are between 8.30pm and 7.30pm and Saturday 8am to 5pm to cover staff holidays ect.,

Immediate start available.

Duties include answering telephone calls at our busy Clayton branch, making appointments, taking payments and cashing up, handling customer enquiries and some administrative work.

The role is an interesting and varied one, with no two days the same, so the ability to remain calm and adapt quickly under pressure is essential. We are a close and supportive team of veterinary professionals who all have a passion for animal welfare.

COVID-19 considerations:
Screens in reception areas, clients are asked to wear face coverings whilst inside the building with limited numbers in reception at any one time. All employees required to wear a face covering and PPE whilst on shift.

- Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
