CNC Operator

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
- Perform CNC programming using Fanuc controls and CAM software, ensuring optimal machine performance.
- Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to ensure efficient production flow.
- Utilize hand tools and fabrication techniques for tooling adjustments and repairs.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment in compliance with company policies.

**Experience**
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing facility is required.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and flexo presses is preferred.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is an asset.
- Experience with welding, stamping presses, press brake machines, and solid modeling software like SolidWorks is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to handle materials effectively in a factory setting.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes are essential.
